Those water-logged rice paddies are epic for pictures. I've seen photos of huge expanses of them in the hills of China, and when the sun lies just over the peaks and glazes the surface, it's magic.
Clay - are those panoramas done in camera? They're pretty cool. I wish I had the capability to do them without photo stitching that leaves those nasty runs in the pixels...
I agree - the terraced paddies are the best. Really cool. As my friend once exclaimed, "I live in a postcard!" :-)

Not only good for photographs but also just looking at! I live in a wonderland and still marvel to this day at Japan.
