A single cat is quite a bit to wrassle with; suprisingly more difficult than three. And training what is okay to do and what is not... I need to find a water gun, and maybe ammonia (but not combined!). And a widdle cushion to sleep on when I am gone...
A water spritzer works better than a water gun. Careful with the ammonia, urine has ammonia in it so cats have a tendency to urinate where you use it. I found that out the hard way.
ReplyDeleteTry a shake can. Put several coins inside an empty drink can, then tape it shut. Cats hate the sound of the noise it makes.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do, don't call out the cat's name when it misbehaves. A firm "no" or "dame da yo" (?) will prevent your cat from developing a negative association with the sound of it's own name.
